Ya hey dere- Ashley is our own lil Midwest Mama, ope-ing all over the Heartland. She was born and raised outside of Minneapolis, and then moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin for undergrad, then found herself in Chicago in 2022. While in Wisconsin, she fell in love with local music and DJing- she DJed both events & parties and on a community radio station. Music is her true love- but when not listening to records, going to see live music, or reading biographies about musicians, she loves to travel (22 countries so far!), hang out with her cat Vinny, trying to keep her plants alive (i feel ya, girl), and playing Stardew Valley. She is also fluent in German and is a David Byrne & Kate Bush Superman. While new to Chicago, she absolutely loves it here! Chicago loves her right back, and you will too!
