Rachel made our wedding the best party we’d ever been to. We received so many compliments and the dance floor was quite literally packed all night! She was able to incorporate my and my husband’s varying music tastes so easily into a set that flowed seamlessly all night. Last year when my now wife & I started planning our wedding in Chicago, I was researching vendors and came across Toast & Jam’s website. We had an intro call with my our DJ, Alli, to learn a bit more about T&J and their process. As we were planning a wedding in Chicago while living in California, it was important to us that our DJ be responsive, organized, and collaborative throughout the process. Alli was so friendly, helpful, & organized in our intro call that I knew we had come to the right place. Leading up to the wedding Alli was super helpful in our prep meetings from helping us align on music choices to going over every ceremony detail, from ceremony order / music / timing to name pronunciations for our wedding party. She even helped us fold in some last minute song additions we sent the day before the wedding! Day of the wedding went amazingly well — Alli was the perfect master of ceremonies, and our dance floor was sweaty and packed for 3 straight hours. Alli’s selection of music and mixing could not have been better and we received multiple comments from our guests that this was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. Words will never do justice to how much I’d recommend Toast & Jam (and Alli) for a wedding — thank you for helping make our wedding day so special and memorable!

Where to start? Alli was a Perfect match for us after our intro call! We could tell our music taste was similar and that she’d help us rock the night away! Alli had a perfect mix of jams from start to finish and something for everyone in the crowd! We had an absolute blast with her and truly felt she made the dance floor by playing all the best songs! DJ Kate absolutely understood the assignment, read the room with ease, and kept the dance absolutely rocking. She breathed energy and life into our party. When we said, “Our friends like to dance,” she said, “Bet. How hard are we going??” Each song was so well timed and perfectly catered to the crowd. From the start of the ceremony, to dinner service, to warming up the dance floor, to ending on a high note. We feel so lucky to have had Kate as our DJ Extraordinaire.

DJ Damani went above and beyond for us! He is a pro, and had everything so well prepared that the day was just that much better. He was very helpful in our meetings beforehand and understood exactly what we imagined the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to sound like. Then the day of he continued to just go the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly and sounded great! We got so many compliments about how fun the dance floor was the entire night. He was also great working with our other vendors and communicating with us as well with any and all minor adjustments throughout the day. Anyone will be lucky to work with Damani and you will get the best dance floor you could imagine!

Steve and I are so happy with Norah from Toast & Jam as our DJ! T&J came highly recommended, as they were the DJ for my sister and one of my friends. Norah was professional, friendly, and made sure our big day went smoothly. We even added a slide show in the last month of wedding planning, and Norah worked with my maid of honor and the hotel/union labor staff to ensure everything was flawless. We recommend Norah without any hesitation and were so glad with how our wedding turned out!

DJ Alli Klein and the Toast & Jam team made our wedding the best party I’ve ever been to, hands down. Also the best party 99% of our guests have ever been to. From the start, we felt Alli completely understood our taste in music and vision for our wedding, from cocktail to dinner to dance party. With some weird requests on our end (Morrissey, The Mountain Goats, British punk), we worried we couldn’t reconcile our taste in music with tunes that would keep the party going. Alli proved us wrong! She managed to include ALL of our faves in a perfectly timed and organic way. Any artist we couldn’t boogie to was included in other parts of our reception. As the bride, I was on the dancefloor without a break for 2 hours straight. It was banger after banger. I will recommend Toast & Jam again and again, but ESPECIALLY Alli. Thank you!!
