She was calm and thorough in her communication throughout the whole planning process, and at the reception, the dance floor was packed the entire evening. She knew how to read the crowd and change the music to match the energy and mood. The guests raved about her as well. We are so grateful!

We had DJ Ruby perform at our wedding at Café Brauer, and wow was she fantastic! She really took to heart our suggestions and the music made the celebration feel distinctly us! She nailed the special songs we carefully had chosen, and then got the party bumping with awesome music for young and old. I could see DJ ruby boppin’ around herself which made me so happy — if someone truly enjoys their job as much as she does then they’re definitely going to do a great job. Moreover, she went up to each of our toasters and reviewed how to use the mic effectively — we came to find out that this is very unique! From the planning stages (not just picking songs, but DJ Ruby getting a sense for our style) to the execution, she nailed every bit of it. The sound at Café Brauer can be a bit challenging at times, but we really had no issues thanks to her expertise. If you want a capable, dedicated, nice, and talented DJ, T&J has got you covered!

Toast & Jam was recommended to us by a good friend and we were not disappointed. From our first meeting with Norah we knew she was going to make sure our wedding/dinner party was going to be perfect. Sharon’s biggest fear was that no one would dance and as you can see that wasn’t a problem at all. Norah kept the tunes lively and the dance floor stayed full until we finally had to shut it down. Norah was also very thoughtful in the music she played for our cocktail hour and throughout dinner. She incorporated our ‘must have’ songs perfectly. Can’t thank her enough for collaborating with us and making our night memorable. xoxo

Toast and Jam, specifically Jess LeMaster, was absolutely incredible to work with. Jess guided us from Day 1, with a calming presence, through exactly what we needed to know to feel confident that the music on our wedding day would be on point. And it WAS!!! We are still getting compliments on how good it was and many friends are asking us about T & J for their upcoming weddings. We can’t say enough good, not only about the company and their process, but about these DJs being such quality people, a joy to work with. Jess took our input (which let’s face it was limited, because we trusted her immediately) — and created music that was the backbone of our event. Jess absolutely KILLED it as our DJ at the wedding! Toast & Jam was wonderful to work with and Jess could not have been easier and more accommodating! She made sure we were as stress free as could be, sending along samples and follow ups, working with us until the day before the wedding to find the perfect version of a song. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all flawless. The dance floor was packed from start to finish – pure dancing magic! Everyone had such a blast, no one wanted Jess to stop playing as the wedding started to wind down. Would recommend to anyone looking for the best DJ – start to finish Toast & Jam made our wedding fantastic!

Our medium sized wedding reception (~105 people) was beautifully MC’d and DJ’d by Alicia Walter. She was communicative and awesome from first meeting to last dance. Everything from the introductions, to cake cutting, to the first dances was executed spectacularly. The venue coordinator even commented at the end of the night how much our group danced compared to others she’s seen. We had so much fun at our wedding reception and so did our guests. Emily did a fantastic job at our wedding with everything (DJ, MC, handling the rain)! We met with Emily in advance to go over things and for certain parts we had no clue what to play. She had great suggestions and it helped take some of the stress off of us. At the reception, she kept everyone happy and dancing the night away! Many of the guests told us they didn’t leave the dance floor the entire night. We would highly recommend working with Emily and Toast & Jam!

Choosing Toast & Jam was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Katy Albert was our DJ and we cannot say enough about the incredible job she did. Katy exudes an air of likability and friendliness that made working with her all the better. Leading up to the event, she was well organized and exceptionally efficient in getting to know our musical tastes. Aside from a handful of “must play” songs, we really felt comfortable just letting Katy do her thing. And she crushed it! She made the night flow perfectly, knowing what to play and when to play it, and our dance floor was packed the entire night. Several guests approached us throughout the night just to say how awesome the DJ was. From the beginning, Katy proved to be nothing but the best. We wanted it to be a night no one would forget, and she definitely made that happen!
