We loved having Toast & Jam DJ our wedding. Even more specifically, we loved have Norah as our DJ. Norah is everything you want in a DJ. She’s informed, responsive, helpful, and most importantly kept everybody on the dance floor. We’ve gotten so many compliments on how great our music was and not just at night. She played fun music during social hour and her timing of the music during the ceremony was spot on! Ahh! I still get excited thinking about how wonderful it all was! Thanks Norah and T & J.

Emily was amazing! About 10 minutes in to my first meeting with her I knew we were in good hands. She understood our music taste and read our guests as well. Everyone was on the dance floor! It was the most I’ve ever danced at a wedding, and it was my own! Emily was organized, prepared, responsive and such a pleasure to work with. She truly made our wedding evening a blast! I cannot recommend Emily and Toast & Jam enough!

Jim & I knew we wanted to use Toast & Jam before we even got engaged. We loved what they were about (no nonsense music) and that they would listen to what WE wanted and not so much our guests (no offense, guys). I didn’t want them requesting songs and I didn’t want specific songs played. Karin did an amazing job mixing it up and reading the crowd — everybody continues to talk about how good the music was, & honestly, if a wedding has a good DJ then it’ll be a good wedding. Music has to be on point or the wedding will be a dud. Loved working with you, Karin!

I cannot say enough about working with Jess! She was so helpful in coordinating our ceremony, reception timeline and dance sets for our wedding! I received compliments from both older and younger guests stating how great our music was! Jess incorporated our quirky music requests and even found the South Florida “booty dancing” music that encouraged people to dance all night long! I HIGHLY recommend Jess and Toast and Jam for any event!

Choosing Toast & Jam was one of the easiest decisions we made for our wedding — Emily was the only DJ we met! Music is a big thing for us, and Emily added the perfect details and touches at every moment. From the ceremony music, to old favorites and even working in some college-era rap, it was everything we wanted and so reflective of us. Even though we only briefly mentioned it, Emily took note of things that were important to our family — from father of the bride favorites to the groom’s sister’s own first dance song. Plus, Emily was really responsive to our questions. We didn’t have a planner, and she also kept us on track and made sure all the speeches and dances went off without a hitch. It could not have been a better night, and we could have danced well into the wee hours!

We are so glad we worked with Toast and Jams to DJ our Chicago wedding! We met with DJ Shannon as we were leading up to the wedding; she was organized and took the time to understand our music tastes and all of the details associated with the night! She coordinated set-up flawlessly, supported AV needs during dinner and of course, did an amazing job DJ’ing the dance party! She knew our tastes and read the crowd perfectly, people were dancing all night! Not to mention, Shannon is so kind and professional; she will ease all of your wedding music worries in an instant. From our initial meeting with Norah to our farewell at the end of our reception, our experience was perfection. Norah did an amazing job helping us craft a timeline and music selection that kept our guests moving and dancing the whole night long. Our wedding was anything but traditional — we surprised our guests with the ceremony — and Norah helped ground the evening and give it the significance we were looking for. During the planning process and day-of, Norah felt like family. Her suggestions about the flow of the evening were spot on. Our friends and family were so excited with each new song that came on — one guest kept writing them down for her own wedding later this year. We hadn’t planned on having a wedding at all, and Norah’s contribution to the experience is a big part of why we’re so happy we ultimately did.

I attended a Toast and Jam wedding in the fall of 2015 and it was the best dance party I had ever attended. When it came time to plan my own wedding, they were the first phone call.
