I was in charge of finding a DJ for my best friend’s wedding a couple years back- and settled on Toast & Jam based on a friend’s recommendation. We were not let down. I had never been at a wedding where the guests moaned when the DJ called for the last dance. So when it came time for me to get married, I didn’t look for anyone else. It had to be Toast & Jam. We were so lucky to have been able to get a Toast & Jam DJ for our wedding date and Daniel was nothing but superb. His meetings with us were extremely helpful- not only in helping us find the right music for our wedding, but also helping us plan out the day. He asked us questions we hadn’t asked ourselves. He patiently helped us through our planning process. Daniel was also extremely flexible and helpful- we not only had a DJ, but also booked a live band. Daniel helped us coordinate the ins and outs of the different events on our wedding day, working seamlessly with the live band. Daniel also took a casual mention of having family members from Honduras at the wedding and he, on his own volition, did the research to find traditional songs for wedding celebrations to augment our dance-party. He inserted them smoothly into the night’s set. Our family members were touched and thrilled. And, we were also lucky enough to have Toast & Jam DJ Jess at our wedding, just in case Daniel was taken out. (Just kidding, she was a guest.) Thank you Daniel and Toast & Jam. We’re STILL getting compliments on our wedding.

From the day we first met with DJ Emily, we had a great feeling about her! When we had our final meeting with her, she took the time to really understand our vibe and walk through our timeline and put me totally at ease during one of the most stressful weeks of my 30 years. We were excited about her approach to the whole event and her knowledge of our venue and how to best utilize sound in the space. And she was totally willing to roll with our…diverse/eclectic/sometimes off the wall music choices. On the day of the wedding, everything was seamless. She and her assistant performed frequent checks to make sure everything was a good level and when it was time to get the party started, she really knew exactly how to read the room and get them on their feet to stay. Her energy just fed the amazing party vibe and at one point, she even let me cut the feet out of her extra set of tights so that I could change into my comfy dancing shoes. Our experience at Toast & Jam was incredible; DJ Emily went above and beyond to bring our wedding dreams to life and she cultivated the party of our lives!!!

Alli was just the best- it’s as simple as that. We chatted with her a couple times before the wedding and she took the time to really understand our taste and the vibe we were going for. And from there, she totally killed it. EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night. She kept the energy moving and totally honored and helped us realize the vibe we were after. Her set list has come up several times as one of people’s favorite parts of our wedding. You should hire her, my friends. She’s the real deal.

Alli was so easy to work in person and over email from the first meeting to the event. From the moment I came across the website for Toast and Jam I knew I wanted to work with them- I mean with a creative name like that how could you not! Then I read there ALL 5 star reviews, and knew I was on the right track. I emailed the company to request a quote and they were so quick to respond and let us know that Emily Agustin was available to DJ our wedding and we could come in to meet her, man am I glad we did. She accommodated us from the first time we spoke, agreeing to do a later evening meeting to work with our schedules, she was friendly and funny, and didn’t make fun of me when I suggested music anywhere from Michael Buble to Rolling stones to 2Chainz. Not only was she amazing at the meeting, every time I needed a suggestion or wanted to run something past Emily she would respond so quickly and I trusted whatever she said, because well she is the coolest chick around :). When Emily came to the wedding she was SO helpful. Her and her assistant did an amazing job lining up bridal parties, and helping make announcements to help keep the evening on our time schedule. But most importantly… the reason we hired her- the music. Wow! I have never had so much fun on a dance floor and I truly don’t think I am just saying that because it was my own wedding. Emily takes her time to get to know you and what you and your loved ones want to hear, and she delivers. The foundation for any good party is solid music and Emily we cannot thank you enough for making the night an absolute best. I think the best compliment I got from the wedding was all my guests were SO SORE from getting down on the dance floor. I want to throw another party just so Emily can come DJ it for us again. She made our wedding even better by being so authentic, fun and being really really amazing at her job. I would recommend Toast and Jam and specially Emily to absolutely anyone!
