Our experience with Toast and Jam was amazing. From our first interview to the day of, everything was super professional and also grounded in excitement from all sides. Alli Klein was our DJ and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. We had told her we wanted movie themes for the processional, and when we said we wanted to have my wife walk down the aisle to the theme of Jurassic Park, Alli was supportive and enthusiastic to oblige. We gave Alli a theme for our cocktail and dinner of British rock and she knocked it out of the park. We didnt give specific songs, but we gave bands like The Who, Bowie, The Kinks, and Queen. She even went a little more modern even going into The Darkness. Song wise, Alli did so great that our friend from England was overwhelmed with joy and excitement of what he might hear next. Going all the way into, “Can I have your playlist? What’s your DJ’s name? She is amazing!” We were given a list of songs to choose from that we absolutely would want to play and also songs that we absolutely wanted to stay away from. My advice, other than songs that may already be over played DON’T cage your DJ! We allowed Alli full reign and it was the amazing. Alli had such a great sense of the room that she knew how to get EVERYONE on the dance floor. Even my 98 year old grandmother was on the dance floor multiple times due to Alli playing a wide variety of music from all ages. Alli was genuinely excited and having fun, dancing and have a good time herself from behind the booth. Alli had a great sense of time and kept everything smooth, from music during ceremony to cocktail hour to bringing everyone back together for the dinner and clearly articulating, “shows over everyone, hope you had a great time!” We would get Alli from Toast and Jam everytime and can’t rave about our experience enough!

It was a pleasure working with Jess for our wedding. She was very patient with us through a couple of Facetime calls as we worked through the music list to get the right vibe we were looking for. I would give Toast & Jam an A+ — everything was great from start to finish! When I was calling around to different DJ companies, I had a wonderful conversation with Dena — she answered all of my questions promptly. Once I decided to commit to Toast & Jam, Alli Klein was assigned to us. Alli was AMAZING!!! Since we live in AZ, Alli skyped us whenever we needed to have meetings and was very accommodating to our schedules. Also, like most brides do (hopefully ;) ), I probably sent Alli 10 emails making changes and edits to our song list up until just days before and she was such a great sport! She also customized my ‘walk down the isle’ song which was EXACTLY what I wanted! At the reception, Alli played everything on point — she could really read the crowd and had all my guests on the floor all night! Could not say enough great things about this company and especially Alli — 100% recommending to all my Chicago friends & family <3

We worked with Jess LeMaster from Toast and Jam and it was an awesome decision. We were a little intimidated by how cool T&J seemed from the internet but Jess could not have been more kind and welcoming. We had pretty diverse musical tastes in the crowd and she pleased everyone. The phrase “best wedding DJ I’ve ever heard” was uttered more than once throughout the night. What’s more, they actually managed to subtract stress from the wedding planning process (no small feat). It was so fun meeting Jess, and hearing all the songs we loved (and she knew we would love) on the day of our wedding!

Our DJ for our wedding was Alli Klein. To keep a long story short, Alli was amazing. She read the room, played all the songs we asked for (and more!) and she nailed all the introductions and announcements. From the first meeting to wrapping up, Alli was professional but personal. We felt like she actually gave a damn and knew that the music would be a crucial part to our wedding being a success. She even played a song specifically for the groom and his brothers, which they definitely rocked out to. Wow where to begin? It wasn’t a tough choice selecting Toast & Jam as our DJ for our wedding, all you need to do is read the amazing reviews, and trust me they are true! Karin was the perfect match for us. She was so helpful walking us through everything start to finish- processional song, recessional song, background music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, you name it she thought of it. She had some great suggestions for instrumental songs I could walk down the aisle to which I loved. Fast forward to the wedding day, and I still have guests tell me how amazing the music was. There was not one moment the dance floor wasn’t packed, and the best feeling was having guests tell us they’d never been to a wedding that fun before! Karin knew the perfect balance of songs to play; guests would start to leave the dance floor to grab a drink only to never even leave because the next song was better than the last. I am pretty sure everyone was chanting “encore” when the wedding was over. I hope some of our friends use Toast & Jam so I can experience another amazing fun night like we had at ours! Karin- thank you so much for creating such a memorable night for Kevin and I and all of our guests!

Hiring Toast and Jam for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Working with Toast and Jam we were able to put our customize the music played; a combination of wedding classics (not the cheesy ones) and our personal music favorites! We received so many compliments from our guests on the music, and the party was going until the very last song! We had a very unique set-up for our wedding! We we fortunate to have fantastic weather and at the last minute we decided to move our dancing outside on the patio! Nothing like dancing under the stars on your wedding day! Toast and Jam was able to provide music inside for dinner and then music for dancing outside! It was phenomenal!

We made a great decision to hire Emily for our wedding this past spring. We found Toast & Jam because we were simply looking for a DJ that would not play the Chicken Dance and Electric Slide. As we learned more about Toast & Jam, we realized they were exactly what we were looking for. Music is a very important part of our lives and we wanted to make sure our musical tastes came through at our reception. Emily took the time to get to know us and our musical preferences, and used that information to select music that would express our personalities as well as keep the dance floor packed all night. In addition to a great DJ, Emily was a great MC and kept the reception organized and on schedule. Based on all the testimonials and positive reviews, we had very high expectations for Toast & Jam. We are so happy that we chose Toast and Jam to DJ our wedding and are even happier that we were able to work with Katy Albert. Each time we met with Katy she was prepared, organized, and enthused. She helped us find the right mix of music to satisfy our oldies-loving parents and rage into the night with our friends. She took our favorite songs and genres and was able to create a wonderful playlist that kept the party going right up until the end!
