When we asked our wedding photographer for a DJ recommendation she had only one — Toast & Jam. We had a great experience with T&J, specifically our DJ Alli Klein. Alli was so easy to work in person and over email from the first meeting to the event. She provided great recommendations for the ceremony, kept us on track leading up to and the day of the wedding, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night.

From the moment I came across the website for Toast and Jam I knew I wanted to work with them- I mean with a creative name like that how could you not! Then I read there ALL 5 star reviews, and knew I was on the right track. I emailed the company to request a quote and they were so quick to respond and let us know that Emily Agustin was available to DJ our wedding and we could come in to meet her, man am I glad we did. She accommodated us from the first time we spoke, agreeing to do a later evening meeting to work with our schedules, she was friendly and funny, and didn’t make fun of me when I suggested music anywhere from Michael Buble to Rolling stones to 2Chainz. Not only was she amazing at the meeting, every time I needed a suggestion or wanted to run something past Emily she would respond so quickly and I trusted whatever she said, because well she is the coolest chick around :). When Emily came to the wedding she was SO helpful. Her and her assistant did an amazing job lining up bridal parties, and helping make announcements to help keep the evening on our time schedule. But most importantly… the reason we hired her- the music. Wow! I have never had so much fun on a dance floor and I truly don’t think I am just saying that because it was my own wedding. Emily takes her time to get to know you and what you and your loved ones want to hear, and she delivers. The foundation for any good party is solid music and Emily we cannot thank you enough for making the night an absolute best. I think the best compliment I got from the wedding was all my guests were SO SORE from getting down on the dance floor. I want to throw another party just so Emily can come DJ it for us again. She made our wedding even better by being so authentic, fun and being really really amazing at her job. I would recommend Toast and Jam and specially Emily to absolutely anyone! We had DJ Ruby perform at our wedding at Café Brauer, and wow was she fantastic! She really took to heart our suggestions and the music made the celebration feel distinctly us! She nailed the special songs we carefully had chosen, and then got the party bumping with awesome music for young and old. I could see DJ ruby boppin’ around herself which made me so happy — if someone truly enjoys their job as much as she does then they’re definitely going to do a great job. Moreover, she went up to each of our toasters and reviewed how to use the mic effectively — we came to find out that this is very unique! From the planning stages (not just picking songs, but DJ Ruby getting a sense for our style) to the execution, she nailed every bit of it. The sound at Café Brauer can be a bit challenging at times, but we really had no issues thanks to her expertise. If you want a capable, dedicated, nice, and talented DJ, T&J has got you covered!

Toast & Jam was recommended to us by a good friend and we were not disappointed. From our first meeting with Norah we knew she was going to make sure our wedding/dinner party was going to be perfect. Sharon’s biggest fear was that no one would dance and as you can see that wasn’t a problem at all. Norah kept the tunes lively and the dance floor stayed full until we finally had to shut it down. Norah was also very thoughtful in the music she played for our cocktail hour and throughout dinner. She incorporated our ​‘must have’ songs perfectly. Can’t thank her enough for collaborating with us and making our night memorable. xoxo
