Emily Agustin worked the turntables for our wedding on 5/24/14, and she was INCREDIBLE. From the moment we reached out to Toast and Jam to the last song of the night, Emily was there to walk us through the process and make sure we had a party to remember. She provided us a detailed list of songs for approval and then developed a playlist that was absolutely reflective of our tastes. Most importantly, she taught us the concept of “dance floor glue!” Thanks to her, the party was rocking all night. We had an amazing evening, and we can’t recommend Emily — and the entire T&J crew — enough. Thanks, Emily!

DJ Emily Agustin was absolutely the best! She was super awesome to work with, listened to what we wanted and incorporated songs we wanted played into her playlist, and just rocked it on the big day. Our guests were dancing the entire night; we don’t think there was ever a point where the dance floor was empty! Toast and Jam’s Karin was literally the BEST DJ EVER at our wedding! We had a gorgeous wedding at Café Brauer in Lincoln Park with wonderful food, floral, a stunning church, etc etc … but all our guests could talk about was the music! The dancing was non stop all night — people literally did not want to leave the dance floor. Kids, elderly, aunts/uncles… there was not one person not out there. Dru and I are like broken records repeating to one another over and over again how great the music was and how much it helped kick off and keep going that insane dance party! Karin is incredible at her job. She was able to mix in some sweet songs without ANYONE leaving the dance floor. We almost had to step in and shut the crowd down when they were practically harassing her for “one more song” over and over again at the end of the night! If you are getting married in Chicago, you need Toast and Jam. End of story.

Our wedding DJ Katie LaBombard was nothing short of incredible. She listened to us and got a great gauge of the mood we were going for our wedding. By the end of the night people were raving about what a wonderful time was had and how the dance floor stayed packed the entire night. Katie also went the extra mile of Emceeing the wedding and transitioning us perfectly. Everything went perfect and that was in no small part due to Katie. Thanks for her Toast and Jam!

Shannon was our wedding DJ on 1/18/2014, and we were absolutely thrilled with the service she provided. The intensity of the music ebbed and flowed perfectly with the vibe of the guests, and made all our guests, both young and old, feel comfortable getting on the dance floor. We noticed that Shannon and her assistant DJ were dancing along with us from behind their table; that might be why her music matched the vibe of the crowd so well, because she was having fun too! We really appreciated that. Many, many of guests raved about the music, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. Shannon was also very professional and responsive both before and during the wedding, and made planning of the tricky bits (ceremony music & timing, introductions of toasts, etc.) as simple as could be. We wouldn’t change a thing about Shannon’s DJ-ing; it was perfect.

From the moment we checked out Toast and Jam’s website we knew we had found a winner. They were exactly the quirky, fun, affordable, and “not your average wedding DJ” we were looking for. We were paired with Katie LaBombard, and never looked back. Katie was amazing, fabulous, wonderful, and any other positive adjective you can think of. Through the entire process she help lead us toward decisions that needed to be made, gave great song suggestions, listened to what our vision for our reception was, and was just plain fun! Katie helped keep the reception on time (speeches, special dances, etc.) and the dance floor was rockin’ all night long. The night was EPIC :) Strong work Katie and Toast and Jam!

From our very first meeting to the day of our wedding, Toast & Jam made the process so easy. We instantly connected with our DJ, Karin and she was absolutely amazing! We didn’t give Karin much of a list since we heard how good she was at reading the crowd and wow did she NAIL IT. Not only did our guests love her music but they loved her as well! There was only a handful of people NOT on the dance floor & we couldn’t have asked for anything more for our big day. We are so thankful for Karin– We truly would recommend Toast and Jam, specifically Karin to anyone looking for a great DJ.

Katie was awesome to work with! She is a great DJ and we highly recommend Toast and Jam for your wedding! The song lists that are provided along with the “Do Not Play” list of stale music really attracted us to Toast and Jam. This made the process of choosing our wedding music super easy. Despite planning our wedding from out-of-state, we were able to meet our DJ via FaceTime to get familiar with her personality and style and to discuss the details of our event. The entire process was a breeze. Leading up to our wedding date, Katie was easy to get in touch with and responded to our questions promptly. We worked with her to create a very unique musical backdrop to our wedding to cover the entire reception, including a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Katie was so much fun and very professional. All of our wedding guests loved the music and said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Great DJ!

Yeah Toast and Jam! Not only was the music at our wedding fantastic but DJ Karin was our favorite (best and easiest) vendor to work with. Multiple guests complimented us on the music and our DJ. We provided some insight on our musical preference and Karin was able to take that and run with it, playing the right type of music, at the right time throughout the reception. Looking back we think our wedding had a kick ass soundtrack — thanks to Toast and Jam and DJ Karin for making it happen.
