We are so glad we had Dena as our DJ. We are pretty much as clueless as they come when it comes to wedding, so if she helped our ceremony and reception go smoothly, she can help anyone! She is very calm, especially on the big day, as well as organized, on time, and cheery! (Even the father of the bride commented that Dena was a “nice young lady.” ) As if that weren’t enough, she has awesome taste in music and helped keep our dance party going strong! All of our guests commented on the music, and many of them have started referring to our wedding as “The Best Dance Party Ever!”

Bryan and I loved your work at our wedding! I felt like we didn’t give you that much guidance as far as what to play but all the songs that you played were awesome. I felt that all speeches and announcements were very smooth and professional. We also loved how you were able to get the whole crowd moving to the dance floor after dinner. Everyone was out dancing! And then later on in the evening after the early crowd left, the party completely got a second wind as the dance floor turned into an awesome dance party. There was soo much energy and everyone was chanting for another song when the night was over. That’s exactly how every bride wants her wedding to end and I felt that it probably wouldn’t have happened without you! Thanks!

Toast and Jam Rocks. We had DJ Emily and she was a total pleasure to work with. I could not believe how many of our friends and family stayed until the very end of the reception and the dance floor was packed. Emily met with us and had phone conversations with us multiple times to make sure that she understood the style of music we wanted for cocktail hour, dinner and reception. And she hit the nail right on the head. She did not play one song that I didn’t like, and I can’t think of any songs that I would rather have had played. Toast and Jam is a phenomenal group to work with. Bravo, ladies!

Seriously, we heard from so many people who said they had never had so much fun at a wedding before, because they were dancing to the ridiculously great music the whole night. And besides the music, it was the pacing and the tone you helped us set that really added up to a fantastic night. You totally understood the type of music we were hoping for, and clearly knew exactly how to keep the party going! Not to mention the way you handled all of our last minute schedule changes, indecision, and general lack of organization :). I felt like we were in such good hands for the evening that I never really worried about it at all — which I think is probably a good way to sum up why I would recommend you and the whole Toast & Jam team to anyone and everyone.

A big thank you to Karin and Toast & Jam for making our wedding reception so much fun and for making the planning process so easy! Karin did a phenomenal job with our specific/vague requests – like, “Play x song, but whenever you think it would be best.” Beyond that, we didn’t give her much direction, but she managed to capture our wide-range of taste in music from the cocktail hour to dinner and through the last dance. We didn’t want to leave the dance floor the entire night, and we didn’t have to because ALL of our guests joined us out there. Thank you, Karin…it was a joy to have you as part of our big day!
