Thank you, DJ Olivia, for being an awesome DJ and emcee at our wedding! We got so many compliments on the music — our friends loved it AND our parents loved it. That’s true talent. It was literally the one and only time I have EVER seen my mom dance. I’m not kidding. A magical combination of love, Whitney Houston, and DJ Olivia got my mother to dance with me. We don’t know the first thing about weddings, photographers, flowers, catering or music. So when we started planning our wedding, we relied on our vendors to steer us in the right direction and share their experience with us. Jessi’s expertise was evident from our first call together. She asked all the right questions, helped us plan the flow of the reception, and most importantly, she listened and took time to get to know us. She recommended that reflected our personalities perfectly, and when our wedding day arrived, she had planned a playlist that included our eclectic musical tastes (a mix of showtunes, 80s, jazz and current pop hits). Our wedding was such a special and memorable evening, and Jessi was such a big part of that. We’d hire her again in an instant!

We absolutely adored DJ Kristin. Not only did she help, by dint of her shear unshakable competence and experience, to make smooth and automated what is a stressful process (wedding planning and coordination), but moreover, and most importantly, her DJing at the wedding was FIRE! She read the room with skill and kept the guests dancing all the way until the end of the reception. It was also inspiring and enlivening to see how much she loved her work as she was breaking it down herself in the DJ booth the whole time! What a rockstar. All of our guests were raving and telling us that our wedding was among the best dance parties they had ever been to, and that DJ Kristin was the main part of that. We cannot thank her and the awesome folks at Toast & Jam enough for providing their expertise, skill, experience, and charm to make such a special day for us — we love you!

Working with Jessi was super easy and fun. We had never hired a DJ before so we didn’t know what to expect, but Jessi walked us through the process and made sure that she gathered all of our preferences and details. She was a great communicator throughout the planning process. She was always proactive, checking in with us multiple times before each deadline and milestone. Also, she was able to handle all of our special requests like hooking up a rented keyboard to the sound system during our ceremony. On the day of the wedding, she had an amazing playlist and she kept the dance floor packed and lively throughout the entire night. Everybody kept telling us how much they loved the music.

Toast and Jam’s Alli K. was one of the first vendors we booked over a year before our wedding, and she was fantastic from day 1! My husband travels a lot for work so I was meeting a lot of vendors myself on my days off. From our first meeting I knew he’d love her as much as I did, and I was right! She spent time getting to know us and our music interests, and did a fantastic job mashing those tastes together for all to enjoy. We had several requests for Alli as well as areas we could use advisement, and she had better ideas than I could have dreamed of for all of it. She really knows her stuff and loves what she does. I also felt comfortable knowing she’d worked my venue previously (The Glen Club) and she nailed it with the ceremony music, cocktail hour and had everyone up on the dance floor all night long. I went over to her at one point with me out of breath saying I tried to take a break for water but every time I wanted to she’d play another song that I loved (that’s when you know they’re doing it right!). I think the best was my mom today, who really wanted us to have a band like my sister’s wedding had had two years ago, told me how she had to admit how awesome Alli was and that we made the right call going with her as our DJ because not only she loved her, and we loved her, but all her friends and family loved her too so we know everyone had a phenomenal time. Alli was a blast and we’re so lucky to have been paired with her! Thank you Alli for helping make our wedding the most perfect day we could have ever dreamed of and more, and we’ll definitely recommend Alli K. and Toast and Jam in the future!

Music has always been one of our greatest loves, individually and as a couple, so picking out a DJ was a big decision for our wedding. Immediately after our first meeting with Emily, we knew she was a perfect fit. She ​“got us” and there was a surprising amount of cross-over even in some of the more obscure artists. The whole planning process felt like we were hanging out with a good friend who listened to our deepest wishes and dished out some of the best advice. Emily was professional, poised, hilarious and such a fun-loving, positive presence in the crazy months leading up to the big day. We were left feeling so comfortable and confident in the vibe she would set, and wow… months after our wedding, we’re still blown away by the incredibly curated, unique soundtrack she put together. Emily kept the dance floor going all night and read the room so well. She was also a great resource for mic’ing our ceremony and a massive help in making sure all audio was loud and clear for guests. Toast & Jam made our day so special, and we can’t thank Emily enough for all her sweet touches. We will absolutely recommend T&J to anyone for ANY event!

Hiring Toast & Jam was definitely our best wedding decision. Having a super fun dance floor was a priority for our wedding and Eric for sure brought it! He kept the party going all night and was able to read the crowd, thoughtfully choosing the right song for each moment of the night. He was super attentive to our music style, reception details, and was easy to communicate with while planning a wedding from out of state. He is also super personable and overall awesome to work with. Highly recommend Eric for all dance floor needs!!
