Toast & Jam was a perfect fit for our wedding!! We wanted a down-to-earth, feminist, professional DJ who would leave us with a memorable night, and Toast & Jam exceeded our expectations. So many of our guests raved about Rachel, and we appreciated Toast & Jam’s flexibility throughout our entire planning process, especially during COVID. Alli was our DJ for our June 2021 wedding. She was incredibly professional from day one and was amazing at tailoring playlists to match the different vibes we requested throughout the evening. We had a big line-up for toasts and she did a great job cuing each speaker and keeping things moving during dinner. Our dance floor was electrifying and guests raved about how much fun they had. We are so happy Alli was part of our day and can’t recommend Toast & Jam enough!

Rachel was amazing!! She was upbeat, positive, flexible, and a great communicator pre-wedding to learn about our tastes and our vision for our day. And on our wedding day, Rachel was an incredible DJ!! The microphones worked seamlessly, the music was phenomenal, and she had all of our guests dancing and having a ball! From our first consultation with Toast and Jam, we knew they “got us”. We had a certain vibe we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and they *nailed it*!! The secret sauce is definitely the people- Kate and Rachel asked a ton of questions and gave us a super fun song list to run through for inspiration. Chatting with them and jamming out to potential wedding bops was a fun and helpful part of the planning process.The stellar music played a major role in the wedding day being flawless. We cannot sing their praises loudly enough! Numerous folks commented to me that the dance music was on point. My Matron of Honor (who is a tough critic typically) was even on record of saying: “We have a problem…the music is TOO GOOD!” If their comments aren’t enough, the proof is in the pudding- everyone hit the dance floor at some point, regardless of age. Kate and Rachel knew precisely when to play the tried and true classics and when to bust out the jams that we aging Millenials would love. There was a solid group that held it down for the final hour for every single song. Thanks for the memories, Toast and Jam!!!

We loved working with Rachel from T&J! From the moment we met (virtually), Rachel was fun, kind, professional, and patient. She seemed to understand the exact vibe we wanted to convey at the wedding and was super helpful in outlining details of how the reception would run. Rachel was awesome with our wedding guests, and managed to get all of our guests up out of their seats early in the evening…catering the evening so that everyone heard a song they loved! Jenna was our DJ for our August 2021 wedding and we absolutely LOVED having her!!! Music was our number one priority for our wedding and we knew we were in good hands with Jenna from day one. She listened to exactly what we wanted and made it impossible to leave the dance floor! Our dance floor was jam packed for every single song start to finish. Our guests are still constantly commenting and raving about the music at our wedding. She knew how to appeal to all ages, while still staying true to our 70s/80s disco vibes that we wanted. Where to begin?! Toast & Jam, Specifically Mary, made our wedding day AMAZING! The day would not have been complete without Mary and her DJ skills kept me, the bride, on the dance floor literally the entire reception! I met Mary for the first time in person on the day of the wedding and I cannot explain how outgoing, positive, sweet, spunky, relaxed and cool she was! Toast & Jam as a whole are easy to work with and accommodate to your style.. I i would recommend Toast & Jam to all day, every day! All our friends who had been to parties DJ’d by Toast and Jam had told us how epic they had been, so we knew our wedding was in good hands. Tabitha took it to the next level, enough so that our reception ended in a “Tabitha!” chant. The set list made it so evident that she really listened to us in our conversation and made our wedding feel so special and, most importantly, so “us”. It was not just a set it and forget it standard playlist. Within three songs of the dance party starting, there was a conga line going that got everyone on the dance floor and there they stayed until the party ended. When we had to dip away for photos for a few minutes, we were so bummed because we wanted to hear what Tabitha would play next. We also had to move our wedding twice due to COVID and T&J were so sweet, understanding, and flexible. Truly can’t recommend Tabitha and Toast and Jam enough — they were the best from our first conversation to the last song the day of.
Casey & Paul
Dustin and the Toast & Jam team ensured that our September 2021 wedding was the party of the year! The dance floor was packed from start to finish. From crowd surfing to dance circles, Dustin consistently read the room perfectly and kept the beats coming. He is a true professional, willing to take requests and, even more importantly, ignore requests when needed. Also, special shout out to the T&J lighting team! We received so many compliments on the amber uplighting that made our beautiful venue shine. Let’s do it again next year!

Fallon was the best DJ for our wedding! We got married at Bridge410 and wanted to focus on our casual laid back style. Tacos from Big Star for dinner and exposed brick and neon signs at Bridge 410. Fallon was easy to work with and was able to sense the vibe we wanted to create. She seamlessly moved her whole setup from outdoors to indoors due to unexpected rain. From cocktail hour, to dinner, to speeches, and then banger after banger on the dance floor I cannot say enough about how great Fallon was. I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone getting married in Chicago soon!
