Emily was the DJ for our October wedding, and she totally rocked it. When we met with her a few times before the big day, she really helped us nail down songs for the ceremony, and ones that were unique to boot. All of the transitions were perfect, and when it came time to hit the dance floor, she really made it happen. We even had a few epic dance-offs. Emily was so sweet and super talented. All of our guests loved the music and even other vendors agree that she was really easy to work with. Toast and Jam is definitely the way to go.

We wanted our wedding to mimic who we are: unique, jovial and FUN! Hiring Dena was the best way of ensuring that!!! It’s so cool to hear people praising your wedding, months after it’s over (at other peoples’ weddings no less). It’s kind of odd…in the most awesome way. In the rave reviews we continue to receive, Dena is always the key. She knew what to play and when. She appealled to young kids and really old kids too. The dancefloor was always packed. And I think she had as much fun as we did…dancing from her post. It just felt like we asked a really good friend to tend to the music. Dena, thanks for making our wedding the greatest night of our lives!!

From the moment I met the ladies of Toast & Jam I knew that I had one less to worry about on my wedding day. Dena was helpful, knowledgeable and professional from day one. But don’t let their professionalism fool you because those girls know how to throw a party. 

They had the dance floor hopping for hours and my guests still chanted encore after the final song of the night. Not only did they do an amazing job of keeping the guests entertained but they completely captured the spirit of who we are as a couple with their song choices for cocktail hour and dinner. I had multiple guests comment that ​“the music selection was the best they have ever heard at a wedding”. In short, Toast & Jam definitely know what they are doing and they have fun doing it. Finding the right DJ was the most important ​“To Do” on our Wedding Checklist. Thanks to Toast & Jam, more specifically Erica Schwanke, our wedding reception was AMAZING! We are so glad we had Dena as our DJ. We are pretty much as clueless as they come when it comes to wedding, so if she helped our ceremony and reception go smoothly, she can help anyone! What a beautiful memory Toast and Jam left us with! Not only were the songs perfectly chosen and orchestrated, but Dena really shaped the essence of the evening through her music. She didn’t simply play music but, rather, molded the whole atmosphere of the evening. From beginning to end, having Dena at the wedding felt like having an old friend…who also happens to be able to put on one rockin’ dance party!
