Guys. Everyone stop and read about how amazing DJ Sean is, My husband and I had heard about Toast & Jam through a mutual friend who’d used them for her wedding and had great things to say. I reached out and got matched with Sean J, who was available on our date. We knew within seconds of meeting Sean that he was our DJ. He is sweet, patient, laid back, and CRAZY knowledge about music. Like for real, this guy knows his stuff. Sean also made sure to incorporate our musical tastes, and went above and beyond in helping us prepare and feel comfortable leading up to our day.On the day itself, Sean worked with a tricky setup but made the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception feel completely seamless. We got SO many compliments from guests – Sean has amazing taste in music and knows what kind of songs to play to keep the night moving. You know how at weddings, certain songs get everyone on the dance floor, but then they leave when the next song starts? Yea, we had none of that – every.single.song was a hit. Our guests were literally getting tired because they didn’t want to take a break and leave the dance floor.I seriously cannot rave about Sean enough. I wish I needed a DJ for regular everyday life because we think he is just so cool and would love an excuse to hang out with him again. Don’t look anywhere else for a DJ – Sean is your guy.

Music is a crucial part of the wedding reception. My husband and I knew we wanted a DJ that was going to bring life to the party and keep our guests dancing till the evening was over. After asking for recommendations from friends, numerous people suggested Toast and Jams. We reached out and were immediately connected with our own personal DJ. Alli Klein was a dream to work with, she scheduled a preliminary meeting where we got to sit down and discuss our music preferences and literally tailor an evening of music that was going to satisfy ours and our guests taste. She did and amazing job of keeping the evening on track and flowing from the bridal party introductions to pacing out the speeches to the first dances. Alli achieved exactly what we wanted and that was keeping our guests and ourselves dancing on a packed dance floor until the evening concluded. Following the wedding we have received multiple compliments from all ages on how fantastic the music and our DJ was. We can’t thank Alli enough for bringing such a fun and positive energy to the evening. It truly was a magician night that we will never forget.

When we first contacted Toast & Jam they recommended we meet with Alice. From our first meeting I knew this was going to be the best decision we made for our special day. Alice was very organized! Besides playing amazing music she really helped to make sure our timeline and the structure of the reception went smoothly and was a night everyone would remember. I don’t think anyone stopped dancing all evening! We’ve received so many compliments and we owe that to Alice. We cannot thank Toast & Jam and Alice enough for all the memories we made!

We knew we made the right choice going with Toast & Jam after meeting Jessi for the first time.She was so easy to work with and always responded to my (thousand) questions immediately. The day of the wedding the venue coordinator called the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and moved everything indoors which made Jessi’s job a little more hectic but she was so professional and handled it with ease. She kept that dance floor going which was a priority and Jessi delivered. We had such a blast we didn’t want her to leave! As a matter of fact, I’m thinking of when I can have another party just to have her back, true story…we feel in love with our DJ. WE LOVE YOU JESSI!!!

We served Jessi a tall order for our must-have music list (a little disco, low-key 80’s, Lizzo, no one accused of #MeToo, bonus points for love songs from romcoms) and she absolutely nailed it. With all that direction and more, she knew what would work well for our group and what we wanted. During our wedding everything was smooth and effortless (just as she promised) and the dance floor was never without a dance off or group hug. On top of everything else Jessi is calm, cool, and just plain awesome to work with for your wedding or event. You’ll want to get married all over again if you work with her!

“What can I say?! From our first meeting with our DJ, Emily, we were hooked. She was a true professional and really had a handle on how to run a wedding reception. She was so easy going and fun to hang with.. We left our meeting inspired and excited and immediately starting picking our music for our ceremony! We had so much fun going through their list of songs. At our final meeting, she was so open to what we were asking of her (looping our processional song, playing some Greek dancing music, and a couple special requests to get our grown up pop/punk friends going). Day of, she KILLED it. Our dance floor was packed all night. The music during our dinner felt like it was pulled from a spotify playlist I would’ve made myself, PERFECT. She kept true to her promises and made sure that we were aware of any special moments happening during the night. Best part of all, she had worked with my dad (unknown to me) and played a version of Brown Eyed Girl that my dad had one of my high school best friends record for our father/daughter dance. What a great surprise! Our favorite memory of our wedding night came directly out of a song Emily played. 2nd to last song of the night she threw on “we are young” by Fun and it somehow turned into a massive sing along with my husband and I LITERALLY surrounded by our friends and family in a circle around us taking turns hugging and kissing and lifting us up. I remember looking at my husband with tears in my eyes saying “is this even real?!”. We loved Emily and Toast and Jam. If you want a packed dance floor, with fun music to make everyone happy and create amazing memories, book them!”
