Music has always been one of our greatest loves, individually and as a couple, so picking out a DJ was a big decision for our wedding. Immediately after our first meeting with Emily, we knew she was a perfect fit. She “got us” and there was a surprising amount of cross-over even in some of the more obscure artists. The whole planning process felt like we were hanging out with a good friend who listened to our deepest wishes and dished out some of the best advice. Emily was professional, poised, hilarious and such a fun-loving, positive presence in the crazy months leading up to the big day. We were left feeling so comfortable and confident in the vibe she would set, and wow… months after our wedding, we’re still blown away by the incredibly curated, unique soundtrack she put together. Emily kept the dance floor going all night and read the room so well. She was also a great resource for mic’ing our ceremony and a massive help in making sure all audio was loud and clear for guests. Toast & Jam made our day so special, and we can’t thank Emily enough for all her sweet touches. We will absolutely recommend T&J to anyone for ANY event!

Hiring Toast & Jam was definitely our best wedding decision. Having a super fun dance floor was a priority for our wedding and Eric for sure brought it! He kept the party going all night and was able to read the crowd, thoughtfully choosing the right song for each moment of the night. He was super attentive to our music style, reception details, and was easy to communicate with while planning a wedding from out of state. He is also super personable and overall awesome to work with. Highly recommend Eric for all dance floor needs!!

We heard Emily DJ at a friend’s wedding and for the first time, understood the difference between a wedding DJ and a DJ who takes a wedding to the next level, so we booked DJ Emily as our very first vendor for our own wedding! Not only was the dance floor epic and personal, the ceremony, cocktail, and pre-ceremony music was so unbelievably thoughtful and us. We didn’t think about the importance of music at every stage of the wedding, but luckily, we had Emily to make the whole day feel like a reflection of us. And of course, the dance floor was incredible and everyone from our grandparents to our friends boogied all night.

Toast and Jam DJ Jessi is first-rate and she certainly delivered on her promise to keep the dance floor full at our wedding! We really enjoyed working with Jessi because she took the time to understand our tastes in music and to guide us through some of the decisions we needed to make. At the reception, she ensured that our timeline ran smoothly with introductions, speeches, and announcements. When it was finally time to crank up the music, the songs were such great hits that our guests filled up the dance floor and overflowed onto the carpet between tables just to dance. There were men with ties on their heads and women taking their heels off in no time. We still get glowing reviews from our friends and family about how much fun they had dancing! The hardest part of the night was convincing everyone to clear the floor when it was time to go.

Music is a very important part of our lives and our relationship, so we wanted to make sure that we had a DJ that reflected that. Toast & Jam came highly recommended from everyone we asked and they delivered! Olivia, our DJ, made sure that the soundtrack incorporated music from both of our personal playlists and her creative sequencing ensured the dance floor was always packed. Throughout the night, some of our favorite songs were sprinkled in amongst crowd-pleasers and we found ourselves rushing for the dance floor. Weeks later, those in attendance are still complimenting the DJ. Toast & Jam and Olivia went above and beyond our expectations and set the perfect mood for our wedding day, guaranteeing a night we won’t forget.

Where do we begin? I guess from the start. It all began at Rootstock, a little wine bar, where Nick and I met Eric for the first time. It was love from the first talk of wedding tunes. Eric immediately got us. He was prepared with all the right questions to get our wedding music vibes flowing so he could make what was truly the best soundtrack to the best day. Eric is a TOP NOTCH DJ and we have been recommending him (and Toast + Jam) to EVERYONE! When we set out to find the right music for our big day, we knew we had to have the best. We gathered recommendations and spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews. The one constant was Toast + Jam. We are so incredibly happy we booked them because we were paired with Eric and honestly he’s the BEST! Still to this day we get complaints on our music. People say things like “I haven’t danced like that in a long time!” — “I haven’t had that much fun at a wedding in forever!” — “Holy moly, who was your DJ because he kept the party LIT the whole night!” We even had a little scary moment when a family member passed out, the party stopped and I was nervous we wouldn’t be able to get it going again, but Eric came to the rescue and pumped up the jams and within minutes people were back on the dance floor. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Toast + Jam and so frickin’ grateful the universe gave us Eric to DJ our most favorite day! We love you Eric! You’re the man! <3

We had an absolute blast at our wedding and a big part was our DJ, Alli! We had guests coming up to us all night saying how good the music was and we agreed! There was not a part during the night that the music wasn’t great and it was seamless transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, and finally to the dance floor. Alli also ensured our vows and the toasts went off without a hitch. The only thing we regret was we couldn’t keep partying with Alli all night.

Having Jenna as our DJ was the best decision ever! Not only did she listen to all of our ideas, she also provided us with some great feedback and suggestions. Planning a wedding by yourself is stressful enough, especially if you have never done it before, so when the vendor is understanding and patient, it really makes the process that much smoother. Jenna is quick on her feet and has amazing intuition. Not every single detail can be planned out ahead of time, and sometimes you have to improvise, which is what Jenna did! We had to cut our wedding short, and we could not get through all the song choices, but Jenna delivered her best and ended the night with a bang! Thank you so much, Jenna and T&J!

Alice was amazing! Absolutely would recommend as the perfect DJ for any wedding or event. We planned most of our wedding from afar (which can be quite stressful), and Alice was so helpful and patient throughout the process. She helped us organize the day of events and asked the perfect questions. We were a little picky about the music, so we sent her Spotify playlists of what we were envisioning for Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and Dancing. She also provided a sheet of possible songs and genres, which we could note as definite plays vs. definite do not plays. The night of our wedding was simply PERFECT. Everyone commented on the music and how incredible our DJ was. Alice made the night about us and curated the most incredible setting for our reception. You always hear that the DJ can make or break the party — Alice exceeded all expectations and made the evening spectacular. 5 out of 5 stars!

My (now) husband LOVES to dance! We wanted to keep the dance floor full all night and Alli did that with her awesome song choices. So many friends and family members commented on how great the music was and that they loved the variety of songs. Alli helped us figure out which songs to use for different parts of the day which was wonderful since we had no idea how many songs we needed! She even worked with my dad who recorded his own song for our first dance and was so helpful to him during that process. From everything we heard about Toast&Jam we knew we would have great music but it was even better than we imagined!
