We had previously been to a wedding that Karin had DJ’d and she was amazing. She was so good that we knew immediately that we wanted to book her for our wedding! Karin did an amazing job at our wedding as well. She was so professional and helpful from the day we met her, and that carried over to our wedding day. I can’t remember the first song she played but the dance floor was immediately packed and our guests danced all night long. We highly recommend Karin!!

I loved working with Toast & Jam! We used Toast & Jam for our recent wedding on November 9, 2013. Our DJ was Shannon Duffy who was a pleasure to work with — responsive to email, easy to talk and work with when we met in person and overall just awesome. We used Shannon for both our cocktail hour and dinner/reception. She played all of the music that we wanted to hear in regards to the tone and style when we switched to different event in the night such as from cocktail hour to dinner and then to dancing! We went from Frou Frou during dinner to every possible upbeat genre that you can think of during dancing that kept the crowd on their feet! It was just perfect! Even better, Shannon came out during our last song, American Pie by John McLean, before the evening was over and danced with the crowd… it was great! With all of the stuff that I had to do the day of and focus on, Shannon was spot on. I never heard from her about issues, she took her own direction and helped me stay organized the day of when lining the wedding party up, speeches, etc and always kept us in the loop that day. She really made our lives easier! If you’re looking for a great DJ and an amazing company but not the typical wedding DJ, T&J is the place for you. I would recommend T&J to anyone and everyone! In fact, I just did for a co-worker who is recently engaged and he can’t wait for his meeting with T&J! Karin was the DJ for our August wedding in Chicago. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing time! Everyone had a blast and the dance floor was full the entire evening. Katie LaBombard was so incredible at our September wedding!! We asked her to play Jay Z and Warren G for the bridal party entrance and mix it into Happy and I’m on top of the world and she didn’t bat an eye — you should have seen the crowd react to such a unique entrance / mix of songs. She played a mix of everything during cocktail hour and dinner. So many times our guests came up to us and said did I really hear Elvis followed by Snoop Dog followed by Eddie Money ‑that is awesome! Post dinner everyone was on the dance floor and even my Father at the end of the night said the music made this the best party he has ever been too. Katie rolled with everything we threw at her and best of all she looked like she was having a blast the entire evening. She kept us on track the whole night and adjusted to every scheduling changes. Katie reviewed our timeline numerous times prior to the wedding and partnered with our cater to make sure things just happened. One of the best parts of the evening was when Jerry and his mother did the mother son dance. His mom has MS so she wasn’t able to dance for very long and Katie was able to quickly transition when given the cue and invite everyone to join them on the dance floor and make it so natural. She made the evening so memorable and most of all the creative, fun, and quirky environment we were looking for. Weeks later I am still being told that our variety in music was the best people have heard at a wedding and mention of specific songs people were thrilled to hear. I absolutely recommend you book Katie immediately for your wedding — you will be thrilled you did!! Katie thanks for everything you did to make the night unforgettable!!!

Toast & Jam made our wedding SO FUN. Katie LaBombard was our DJ, and she was fantastic. She provided our ceremony music and party music. The dance floor was packed the entire night, more than any wedding we’d ever been to. Katie was also so much fun to work with. We left our final meeting with her wanting her to be our new best friend. She went above and beyond for us that night, troubleshooting, checking in with us to make sure we were happy with how everything was going, and was just so professional. There is no way I can possibly say enough about how wonderful Emily A. was — guests are still talking about how much they loved her. From the very beginning she was completely organized (a bride’s dream) and a pleasure to work with.
