Music is DJ Alli's life. When she isn't rocking the dance floor at weddings, she works as the production coordinator for Chicago's only vinyl pressing plant Smashed Plastic. Her love of music instilled by her Dad's vinyl collection and uncle's live blues band performances, led her to a background in radio: she majored in Radio Broadcasting at Columbia College Chicago, interned at WLUP 97.9fm when it was still a classic rock station, worked in programming for CBS Radio for years, and has been volunteering on-air and behind the scenes at CHIRP Radio for over 16 years. When this party queen needs to trade rock & roll for real R&R, she enjoys spending time snuggling with her red & white Irish Setter named Owen, and backpacking and hiking with her husband Will (a few trips of note: the Costa Rican rain forest, the Ligurian coast of Italy, the Haleakala National Park in Maui Hawaii, The Ozarks, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (a 42 mile section of the North Country Trail), The Smoky Mountains, and more!)
