Damani was born and raised in Chicago, where his love of music began at a very young age, attending concerts with his DJ brother (INCLUDING PRINCE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!). After college, Damani worked for Power 92.3 FM radio in Hammond, Indiana, in their Marketing and Promotions department. Upon building strong industry relationships and contacts (y’all, he worked with Beyonce before she was **BEYONCE**), he started a entertainment company, HCE Live, with incredible success (Like, his first production ever was DESTINY’S CHILD!!!!). For over 2 decades, Damani has toured the world producing some of the hottest music and comedy acts in the country. His time wrangling comedians and removing all the green M&Ms from the bowl gave him all the skills he needs to wrangle your wedding party for introductions, and to keep an eye on all the details for your wedding day. Damani is a music lover, a people person, and a guy who can think on his feet-making him pretty much the perfect DJ for your event.
