DJ Chris G.

Pronouns: he/him

Most people claim to have diverse taste in music, but Chris really puts his money where his mouthpiece is (this is a woodwind joke, it'll make sense in a second). Not only is he a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, but he has played saxophone in hip hop groups, reggae bands, salsa bands and was even in a Tower of Power cover band in Boston for years. He has toured China and Europe in Jazz ensembles. He even…are you sitting down?…he even played with John Oates from Hall & Oates! I CAN go for that, YES can do! When not DJing or saxing it up, Chris loves national parks, Marvel movies, any and all Cleveland sports teams, and hanging out with his amazing fiancée (she’s a ballerina!). He is also the Studio Manager of a non-profit community music education program.

“Chris was amazing throughout the entire planning process! His attention to detail was awesome. He made sure to chat with us several times before our reception to ensure the songs we wanted were played. He did a wonderful job feeling out the crowd and determining what to play next - great intuition! Thank you so much, Chris, would recommend you to anyone!”

“Chris came in at the last minute to save our event! His flexibility and creative DJ solutions ensured the speaking program went off without a hitch. Not to mention, the curated music playlist kept our guest grooving along the whole time. We will definitely be contacting Chris and the Toast and Jam team for our next fundraising event!”
