Let’s Get to Know Each Other.

Our only non-DJ member of the team (at least professionally, girl can rock a playlist for reals), Melissa is the heartbeat of our office staff. Melissa moved to Chicago from southern Indiana about 20 years ago after college with a degree in psychology, but pivoted when she took an interest in interior design and went for that degree as well, with a concentration in mid century modern and rare vintage furniture. She’s the queen of Facebook marketplace, and lovingly puts up with all our questions about paint color and furniture placement.

While not a DJ, Melissa is a huge music nerd and loves to dance, particularly to her favorite band !!!. Her first concert was Michael Jackson when she was 7. She plays the stand up bass but dreams of learning the steel drums. She’s also got the most amazing collection of eyewear of anyone you’ll ever meet. Melissa lives with her husband and daughter, a shih-poo named Peaches and a geriatric pug named Willem.
