Let’s Get to Know Each Other.

A Minnesotan by birth and an ivory tickler since age 9, Mary has been using her love of keyboards in several Chicago garage and punk bands for over a decade, leading to tours all over the world. She’s also used her love the keys to amass a Hoarders level amount of vintage combo organs & electric pianos- some of which actually work! Strangely, this passion has NOT resulted in a keyboard scarf in her wardrobe. When not playing in bands or DJing, Mary can be found at the Humboldt Park home she shares with her husband, channeling her inner urban homesteader, cooking, baking, tending to her garden, camping and hiking, and cuddling her sweet pups, Patti & Jerri, or her fluffy cat Sissy. She moved to Chicago nearly 20 years ago to pursue a degree in writing at Columbia College, so arguably, she should be writing this bio, not me.
